Nora starts with a prompt for a parent to set the game mode to shapes or colors.
In each game round, a voice will, by name, prompt the child to click the correct shape or color.
Nora features a quit sequence designed to prevent the child from accidentally closing the game while still allowing the parent to control app navigation.Rounds get more complex or simple depending on how well the child did in the previous round.
Each correct guess is rewarded with appropriately-paced, visually-appealing animations, and positive voice affirmation.

As a parent, I was annoyed to discover many learning games on the Play Store that were intended for babies and toddlers were poorly created and worse, contained ads that young children inevitably click inadvertently.
That prompted me to start this project, and after only a couple of days using it, my little beta tester has mastered correctly identifying colors by clicking when prompted, and has begun to learn how to speak the names of both shapes and colors.
I hope your child can benefit as much as mine has.

I plan on adding more as she develops, including a separate app for when she reaches school-age; however, anyone can contribute to this project by downloading the assets from Github at https://github.com/ryanmagnon/NoraToddler.
